The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party approved two development schemes of road sector with an estimated cost of Rs 2079.346 million in its 71st meeting of current fiscal year 2016-17 on Friday. Provincial Secretary P&D Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, all members of the Planning & Development Board, Provincial Secretaries concerned and other senior representatives of the relevant Provincial Departments also attended the meeting.

According to P&D spokesman the approved development schemes included:

1. Rehabilitation of Daska to Pasrur Road, (from km. 0+000 to km. 29+527), length=29.527 km, Sialkot at the cost of Rs 1082.228 million and;

2. Rehabilitation of Pasrur - Narowal Road, Project length (27.361 km), Narowal at the cost of Rs 997.118 million.
